Originally from the D.C. area, by way of Austin, TX, Karen "Kay" Ross is a writer, director, actor, producer, and a champion for the inner teenager. Because who doesn't enjoy a rebel?

Her early television career included true crime docu-series, food competition shows, and educational media for museums. Since moving to LA, she's been building up her development and production portfolio, including proof-of-concept shorts, features, podcasts.  

During this time, she also discovered how she can give back to the entertainment community: by protecting the heart of every story, whether consulting, writing, or producing. Kay believes in mentorship, so each project is a case study from which to elevate the sustainability and scalability of independent filmmaking.
